Put FedRAMP experience on your resume without sounding generic
A framework name in a skills list tells a recruiter very little. Strong FedRAMP resume bullets show where you worked in the authorization lifecycle and what changed because of your contribution.
Name your place in the lifecycle
Clarify whether you supported readiness, documentation, assessment coordination, remediation, continuous monitoring, or ongoing authorization activities. Add the system or program scope when you can share it safely.
Point to artifacts and outcomes
Replace broad phrases such as ‘worked on FedRAMP’ with the artifacts you maintained, the teams you coordinated, and the decisions your work enabled. Quantify findings, controls, systems, or reporting cycles when accurate.
Keep sensitive details out
Demonstrate depth without publishing customer-confidential or security-sensitive information. The goal is credible evidence of your contribution, not disclosure of protected details.
